There's a new virus out there? Mysterious cases reported in many countries: mostly in children

Recently, according to foreign media reports, a mysterious disease related to coronavirus has attracted the attention of experts. At least six countries have reported nearly 100 cases.

At least 12 British children have been attacked by the disease, known as "inflammatory syndrome," similar to Kawasaki disease and toxic shock syndrome, the report said. Similar cases have now been reported around the world, which means that there may be further outbreaks of the disease.

Currently, doctors in the UK, the US, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland have reported nearly 100 cases. The first 12 cases were reported in the UK, while French health minister Olivier Veran revealed that about 15 children of different ages had the disease.

Velan said cases have been reported in Spain, Italy and Switzerland, with fever, digestive problems and vasculitis as the main symptoms. In the United States, at least three children are being treated for similar diseases.

Experts say novel coronavirus pneumonia is a common disease in children, but there are three main symptoms, and are similar to Kawasaki disease and toxic shock syndrome. And abdominal pain and gastrointestinal symptoms have been the common characteristics of heart inflammation.
